I have been working at ARS-Rescue Rooter full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Very good pay. Gives you the tools to succeed

Cons

Set unrealistic goals and constantly pushing too much product on the customers.

Advice to Management

Relax on goals and focus more on quality work rather than sales.

I worked at ARS-Rescue Rooter full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

My spouse works nights and I was able to work nights as well.

    Cons

Wow, where do I begin? Management and senior dispatchers play favorites, I have never seen anything like it. If it's going to be a "money call" it's not the next tech up that gets the call, it's the boyfriend or the friend. If you are a new employee don't expect to make any friends because it's like revisiting high school with all the cliques. Training for new office employees? Good luck, you just get thrown to the wolves so keep your fingers crossed. One manager actually refused me a bathroom break. But the favoritism and the talking behind everyone's back is the worst, it's like being a teen ager all over again. Oh and there is NO room for advancement. You are pretty much stuck in the position you got hired into.

    Advice to Management

Don't be so obvious about who your favorite employee is, it makes others feel bad.

I worked at ARS-Rescue Rooter part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lower management is aware of some of the problems, and has tried to convey these problems to middle and upper management.

    Cons

Maybe working for this company as a either a plumber or heating and air conditioning technician is satisfactory, but working as a vendor for The Home Depot is the pits.

    Advice to Management

I think top management has been kept on the dark as to the problems of the company. I think there is a lack of communication from middle management both upwardly and downwardly.
