Pros

challenging work available in growing parts of the business

Cons

politics and favoritism, constant layoffs, poor management skills in younger hires, age discrimination

Advice to Management

provide opportunities for upward movement to workers in lower level jobs. Many talented and well educated managers are overlooked because of age and have much better management skills, decision making skills and people skills than those currently in higher positions

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

It pays well and the benefits are competitive. For the "in footprint" markets there are many areas of the company to work. The vacation policy is great! I also really like what we do and the service we provide.

    Cons

The company has become so beauracratic that it's almost impossible to get anything done. Forcing wireline-like standards on a wireless Network is going to kill it. The arrogance with which it's being done is completely offensive.

    Advice to Management

Why model the revenue generator on the part that's hemmorhaging money? Continuing to shove these policies down our throats is going to kill us. Trying to bring Six Sigma in after even GE has abandoned it? Wireless got this far because of creativity and innovation. AT&T came apart the first time because it got big and arrogant. Don't make the same mistake twice.
