    Approves of CEO

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fair pay, simple work, lot of support programs, good benefits, exceptional training if you take advantage of it, easy to make a living if you stay low key. Tenure is everything...be patient in 5 years you will be somewhere, in 10 years you will be secure, in 20 you will be wealthy...just look at the cons and know your role and shut your mouth! :) Its a positive atmosphere if you want it to be...The CEO is engaged and a good guy. I met both of them during my brief 2 year tenure...

    Cons

You are just a number so act like it. They may give you a ton of acolades and rewards and awards but they can work against you. Alot of people get threatened by top performers and seek to get rid of you. You best bet is to keep your head down, make no friends, no enemies, just do your job and enjoy the benefits, do not try to be a star. They will milk blood from a stone if you are on salary, be prepared to work, vacation is a joke...virtually nonexistent. Middle management are a bunch of talking head clowns be prepared to be smarter then them but humble yourself...they all have tenure thats what rules the roost!

    Advice to Management

They know what they are doing, its the employees that need to understand how corporate America work.
