I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits. Consistent Hours. Decent job security. Comfortable work environment. Familiarity with technology. Work discounts are great on AT&T products.

    Cons

Lack of customer focus makes the job tougher. Lack of advancement opportunities... It's who you know, not what you know. Angry customers. Strict policies with fast moves to discipline. Discount agreements

    Advice to Management

Nurture employees you have. Focus on employee development rather than threatening your employees into performing. Loosen up a little on strict policies. Change company focus to be more on your customers. Happier customers are more loyal and less hard on your employees. Everyone wins.
