I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Benefits, pay, and they give you a free company phone. Our store has a great manager so it makes work a great environment to be in to be in.

Cons

The commission structure has changed a lot over the 5 years i've been there. So it makes it a little bit harder to make as much money. We use to have commission checks of $3500 plus our hourly paychecks, but now our commission is about $2000 on average.

Advice to Management

Be good movitivators and positive supporters rather than micro manage the reps.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

While I became a bit burnt out from this job, I enjoyed the opportunity it provided to earn a solid annual pay, especially for someone without a college degree. Retail can be tough but it can be rewarding as well.

    Cons

While it is a good thing to have a company providing great promotional opportunities, it makes it difficult t build and keep a strong team. The moment you think things are going great at your store, there's either a promotion that moves someone out of your store or they swap management teams altogether.
