I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

higher pay than lots of call center job

Cons

management sends mixed signals and turns blind eye to rules being broken if sales are high.

Advice to Management

return to a proffessional atmosphere in the workplace. Live what you preach in training and ....turn the radios off call center floors!

    Pros

    good money, friendly and new sales techniques.

    Cons

    bad schedule, low opportunities of getting 1 weekend off, a lot of stress, no opportunity of growing within the company.

    Pros

    In general - they give all your tools and clothing to perform the job.

    Cons

    Job has a performance matrix to comply with. All techs in state are put against each other based on the matrix. Efficiency, Quality and dispatch eff. Just very hard to maintain. A lot of variables involved in your everyday job. If you don't make the goals set by company - they seem to find things to right you up for and try get rid of you. A lot of hours, long days (work 365 days a year) and high pace multi-task environment. HIGH TURNOVER RATE.
