I worked at AT&T full-time

Pros

Plenty of opportunity to run "your own business" and to work with nearly every product or service that AT&T has to offer.

Cons

In the role of Business Account Manager you could hold nobody accountable for doing anything. Number one problem associated with an "overlay" role at AT&T.

Advice to Management

stop fighting over who controls what and help your people get out in front of customers and less time "living in a 30 day world". 30 days is really just two weeks, in AT&T time.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Internal promotions are common for hard workers. Pay increases exist for hard workers. Managers are usually easy to work with. Flexible staff. (This is when you get out of the call center environment and get into a management 1A position.
Great vacation package! Worked there for 3 years and had 144 total hours of time off.

    Cons

Pay isn't very competitive. Many hard workers leave company to make more money elsewhere.
Benefits are only good if you are in the union, otherwise they are pretty bad.
The company provides nothing at the job place. They do not provide dish soap, a new filter for a fridge, no free coffee, nothing at all. The only thing they pay for is the required things like soap for the bathrooms and very very cheap paper towels that literally are paper.

    Advice to Management

I like management except for the executives. They eliminate things like clean water in the kitchen to up their own bonuses.
