I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Benefits and retirement are competitive. Chance to work your way up with experience vs. education (to a degree). Most supervisors tend to be flexible with taking vacation and or paid time off.

Cons

Big business mentality. To much emphasis on numbers. The emphasis on numbers creates safety hazards as well as inferior work.

Advice to Management

Look beyond numbers sometimes.

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at AT&T part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay, Medical benefits, 401k, free phone service, strong ability to advance, and exciting working with new technology.

    Cons

Stressful sales goals, demanding, bad management, managers that have high sales get promoted and not those who would actually do a good job managing others.

    Advice to Management

Slow down and get to know your employees, show them you care and maybe turnover would decrease.
