No opinion of CEO

I have been working at AT&T as a contractor (More than 3 years)

Pros

There was a lack of micromanagement because your supervisors tended to be in different states than you.

Cons

Contractors always seem to be carrying the full-time people. Their skill-sets and contributions to projects always seem to fall short. Fulltimers consistently take credit for contractor work.

Advice to Management

Make your AD's more accountable when they mess up.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

Great Benefits, Telecommute Privileges, Good Salaries, Great Co-workers

    Cons

Seems to announce workforce reductions several times a year, especially in IT (Information Technology).

  2. "Very good company to work for , could be better with career development of retail staff though."

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    health benefits, unionized work force

    Cons

Could do better with development of retail staff, better work life balance in the retail environment not really student friendly if your full time ( at least in retail).

    Advice to Management

7am training classes are not productive , and are seen as punishment for not selling a particular product . If the company is truly serious about having a well trained workforce then all training should be done during regular store hours.
