Positive Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Good pay, high comission, lots of opportunity to work

Cons

Inconvenient work hours, 7am weekend mandatory meetings for all staff, very strict attendance with point penalties that can lead to termination, stressful to hit quota, very seniriotity based. Bad if you are a new hire.

Advice to Management

Be more flexible with employees' personal life and scheduling. People have lives outside of work and you make it impossible to balance work and life with crazy working hour demands. And it would be great to allow weekends off even to new hires and not feel like you need to work for 5 years before you can earn a weekend day off.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You learn so much about corp. business in this call center, beauitful building, like minded co workers, commission and base, no sundays, union

    Cons

change in commission without warning, micro management , negative feed back only to employees,

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with the same respect you would want to treat with. Trust, you hired us and we are the same people you hired and liked.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are decent, pay is rather median for the industry, and discounts on UVerse and cell phone service are obviously a plus

    Cons

Leadership is so beyond out of touch that at times it's laughable. Level 3 management and above know nothing about the front line work life as they're generally busy shopping on the internet during the work day. Initiatives to improve customer service are hilarious when AT&T applauds itself and is rated dead last in service by almost every major third party surveyor.

    Advice to Management

If you want customers to be happy, make sure your employees are happy first. Also throw out NPS ratings as it is only around to ensure undeserved bonuses.
