Positive Outlook

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Good starting salary depends on your exp and education. OT is a BIG plus and if you have a good store manager it can help you grow big time.

Cons

Forget about having weekends off. If can be difficult balancing personal/work life.

Advice to Management

Management need to give some of these guys that have been Sales Reps for a while. These guys are hungry to prove others on what they can do as sales managers. Please stop hiring college students why no experience about the industry or sales.

    No opinion of CEO

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Unionized work environment means good benefits. Big business means networking abounds.

    Cons

Working for a company the values money over people. Thousands of jobs outsourced during economic recession. Upper management creates a shady and paranoid atmosphere by lacking open communication with underlings - often treating them as if they are too dumb to read between the lines. AT&T is big business at its worst... Imagine coming back to your desk from a meeting where you are informed that you are losing your job to lay off only to discover an email waiting for you that thanks you for your part in the unprecedented quarterly productivity and details the revenue gains that your (now laid off) team achieved.

    Advice to Management

Employees who feel valued are more productive and successful.
