    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Progressive telecommunications company, great opportunities for women to move within the company structure

    Cons

For such a progressive telecommunications company they should have a better pay scale for their entry level managers and treat them with more respect.

    Advice to Management

I would advise the upper management team of At&t to retain their entry level managers by treating them with more respect, treating them as people who have families outside of their business paying them in a higher income bracket than $12.00/hr for an outside hire especially if they have past experience in the telecommunications industry. To start holding the store managers accountable to being an integral part of their store daily operations and being present on a daily basis rather than leaving all of the daily work to the assistant store managers.

    I have been working at AT&T full-time

    Pros

A great company to work for if you have great management in place working for you. The benefits are good. You learn about a lot of different and new technology. Constant training to keep you abreast of current technology. They company talks a good gameplan.

    Cons

Management promotes a negative culture with constant changes in commission structures. It seems as if they formulate ways for their employees to do more for less. The most incompetent people are I'm positions of authority. A monkey can sit back a send out emails complaining about goals and metrics. How about putting people on place that can actually lead someone. If you are not apart of the inner circle you are destined to fail. Some people want to actually do their work get paid and enjoy life without all the extra BS

    Advice to Management

Take a look a those directly below you and see how effective they are in their roles. Go out and listen to the employees and make sure they can voice concerns and comments without worrying about retaliation from upper management.
