I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked with some good people. AT&T's product portfolio is very hard to beat. Benefits and pay are pretty good - they try to involve lots of incentive programs to keep turnover low.

    Cons

Decisions made by upper management are slightly forced - lots of politics in management. The processes in this company are disorganized, lengthy, and constantly changing, which not only hurts the employees but hurts the customers as well. Although the pay is above average for most jobs, the sales comp is paid out in a way that no one can understand.

    Advice to Management

Stop caring only about your own objectives (quota), and consider your employee's happiness and the effects all decisions have on customers.

    Pros

good pay for even without a degree

    Cons

pay and benefit decreases in lower level positions
    eliminating jobs / positions
increasing cost of benefits - decline in benefits

    Advice to Management

focus on the positions and people that make this company function on a daily basis and not only on the bottom line and stock price
