I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Large, lots of opportunities, not going anywhere, good work life balance, good benefits

Cons

Culture largely dependent on business unit. some are much more innovative/relaxed/young/fast moving/etc than others. pay not competitive with MBA pay in banking or consulting. most opportunities are clustered in Dallas or Atlanta

Advice to Management

allow more flexibility in terms of telecommuting - not everyone wants to work in Dallas.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

5 day work week, paid vacation, affordable health care

    Cons

Willing to reccomend AT&T to family and friends is a metric the rep is held accountable for. So when you get the survey give your rep a 10 or they might get written up. The wireless industry is saturated so the new focus is sell Tablets and wireless home phones.

    Advice to Management

Be leaders and not followers. This company use to be the innovator and now you see we're falling behind Verizon.
