    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

AT&T has decent health benefits and pay.

    Cons

Having worked in this company over 15 years - I have seen this company go from one that actually cared about both it's employees and customers - to one that cares only about figures. AT&T keeps sending both IT jobs and Customer Service jobs overseas. The level of appreciation for their skilled US employees has significantly declined in the last decade. The Senior Management still has this idea that we can be easily replaced with overseas employees who lack the skills to really do these jobs. Which translates into the overseas employees introducing a low quality product and significant problems into these applications. All these issues usually need to be fixed by the skilled US employees - the ones they ironically keep under-appreciating and just working harder and longer hours.

    Advice to Management

The cost savings you believe you are achieving in unskilled and cheaper labor overseas is costing you greatly in Customer Service and Quality products. Customers are no longer willing to put up with lower levels in service and your skilled employees are leaving.
