I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Union benefits and protections. Able to grow with company either with management opportunities or union seniority.

Cons

Big company with big company policies. Seems the processes or hoops you have to jump through are made up by some big wig that has no idea what each department actually does.

Advice to Management

Give better work/life balance

    Pros

Good four week paid training program. Training program is very in-depth and ensures all reps have all necessary tools to succeed. Ramp up commission structure.

    Cons

Too customer survey focused. Its too easy to lose out on bigger commissions because of one bad customer. Example- Out of 20 customers, if 1 or 2 rate you mediocre, your score drops into failing range. Constant changes to commission structure.

    Advice to Management

Now that you're number 1 in customer service, ease up on the customer surveys. These sales reps are the lifeblood of your business!
