I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly atomsphere. Big on diversity. Team spirit. Great pay. Great benefits. Lots of wonderful company events.

    Cons

They offer a lot of great benefits but only to "at&t employees" ... They house a lot of contractors but because you are a contractor your retricted from participating in a lot of the companies gatherings, which doesn't make you feel part of the team. Therefore, it's best to come in as a direct hire.

The other down fall is in some departments career advancement takes a long time. There are employee's who have been with the company for 10+ years and have not had the chance to step into management roles.

Work/Life balance-- There needs to be more opportunity for employees to be able to balance work and their personal life. This is never an easy thing to accomplish with a company; but, it shouldn't be over looked either.
