I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

The group I worked for was the Mobility Application Consulting group. The leader when I worked there was an Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Business School. He was not only very intelligent but also very inspirational and approachable as well. The MACs as we were called were an overlay team to the front line sales team. We were respected in the company as being the best of the best in terms of complex solutions sales. Unlike the company I work for now, my manager allowed me to be very autonomous and which allowed me to work at my full potential. Unfortunately, my manager was moved into a different role so I ended up leaving the company to join a competitor...which was the biggest mistake of my career.

Cons

The biggest con with a company like AT&T is that the organization is so big that it's difficult to make any significant changes or impact.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good work environment, money is good.

    Cons

Management is poor and likes to micromanage. Not alot of good leadership and you have to brown nose to move up. Alot of corporate BS. Sales consultants have a union but the union reps are worthless and dont really do anything to actually help you.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the reps that do the job and quit micromanaging.
