    I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Very diverse culture where collaboration and working across silos is encouraged. Good pay, benefits are very competitive and there are opportunities to move both laterally into other areas of the business and vertically into more challenging positions. The Leading With Distinction Program is an excellent tool they have put in place to help teach and reinforce leadership best practices.

    Cons

    Work/life balance is a little more difficult here as there are many days where you are working long hours. It seems every project is a priority and that can create a little chaos.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to look for ways to lead in the industry through innovation but also try to find the balance for people with work schedules. We work to live, not live to work.

    Pros

    Great job to learn how to deal with various consumer scenarios. Great potential for income if you are capable to transition customer complains to sales opportunity. Great 401k contribution insurance and tuition assistance

    Cons

    People can spend 20 years or more and retire without advancing into any opportunity for management. If you are good at sales they will not promote you as huger management numbers depend on you. They would rather someone who never hit a sales target as a sales coach so their numbers are not affected. It is all about numbers and there no really importance for customer service. Too much outsourcing customers are bring lied too from reps working overseas and just getting false promises to handle certain issues just to get a good survey
