Neutral Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Good pay, great benefits and ample resources provided to employees which supports reaching individual potential and accomplishing company and personal objectives.

Cons

Large corporation with highly regimented command and control structure can be somewhat stifling to creativity and frustrating to those who want to see things change quickly.

Advice to Management

Ask more questions of those on front lines before making major changes that impact customers and employees.

    Pros

    Experienced company.
    Clean vehicles.
    Good P2R incentives.
    Salary wasn't bad.

    Cons

    Long hours
New contract for prem techs is treacherous and too much work
A lot of Field Techs lost jobs due to new contract.

    Advice to Management

If it aint broke, dont fix it.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Opportunities to move around and fair pay for white collar professionals. If you get on with the mobility side, then you can find career stability. In addition, opportunities exist to work from home.

    Cons

You are only a number here and don't forget it! Compensation in Business Sales is not appealing to top tier sellers when compared to hi-tech companies. If you get caught in the wrong organization, then you will be impacted by routine workforce reductions. Advancement to Level 3 positions and beyond are more political than talent. Excessive amounts of "compliance" training and internal processes bog down productively and CSAT.

    Advice to Management

Trim the fat...that means processes and not just people.
