No opinion of CEO

I worked at AT&T as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Lots of learning resources. Teamwork and collaboration to meet project requirements encouraged. Benefits equate to many permanent jobs.

Cons

Can be hard to reach upper management, since they are always on trips or on call. Definitely feel like a small cog in a giant machine.

    Positive Outlook

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company provides decent compensation, and depending on market does promote a good work/life balance. There are good perks and benefits that come with full time employment, such as a discount on personal cell service, clothing allowance for work clothes, and the insurance is decent. A great deal of the overall experience of the job depends greatly on management in the individual stores. I worked for some great managers as well as some horrific managers.

    Cons

Again, depending on market, there is the potential for favoritism and nepotism in promotions. Sales quotas are frequently fluctuating and often unobtainable in smaller stores. Hours were good for retail, but again this depends heavily on which market you are in.

    Advice to Management

Attempt to build quality teams in the stores, while removing favoritism and nepotism in the promotions process.
