I have been working at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Pay is higher than competitors, looks excellent on resume, gained a lot of insight in sales and the company's operations in general.

Cons

Nepotism, favoritism, no work/life balance. Company is all about the all mighty dollar- Commission structure & staffing changing for the worse for salespeople, mobile plans DO NOT benefit the consumer...but then again-it's AT&T we're talking about...

Advice to Management

Keep indecent relationships hidden from staff, be HONEST, and be FAIR.

I have been working at AT&T as a contractor (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very flexible and plenty of support for family activities.

    Cons

Empty promises and no room for growth in the company. Management is fairly incompetent. AT&T is far from the great company that it was 20-30 years ago.

  2. "Revolving door of disgruntled workers."

I worked at AT&T as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

I really can not add anything to the pros section except that the position is remote.

    Cons

AT&T is very disorganized. Management makes an effort to please their management versus getting the job done correct.y. There is a lot of in fighting between departments about financial issues. Infiltrated by outsources who drive the rates and salaries down.

    Advice to Management

To attract steady talent raise your rates. Keep the jobs in the United States.
