I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Benefits, pay, vacation, discounts, and office environment.

Cons

No room for advancement. Poor management.

Advice to Management

Need to change retail store management with more frequency. Regional managers need to spend more time physically at retail stores.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I actually loved helping customers get into the right products and services as well as the customer service aspect. I feel the AT&T training program was great and I was ready for work when I arrived. Great coworkers and team environment for the most part. If you like technology it's great to be on the cutting edge of what is coming out. Great pay and benefits.

    Cons

Even though my sales were consistently the highest in the store, I won regional awards for my customer service, as well as my coworkers always came to me for leadership and help, I felt that due to being female I wasn't given the opportunities to move up compared to coworkers whose performance was subpar but male. I broke my ankle and submitted all forms necessary, was in constant communication with supervisors and yet was let go of while on disability. I loved my job and feel I was an asset to AT&T but was not treated as such.

    Advice to Management

Offer opportunities to employees who want to move up by setting clear goals & objectives across the board to measure success and fast track those who have a desire to be promoted further.
