I have been working at AT&T part-time (More than a year)

Pros

The manager treated employees very well. You get you meet new people everyday and learn about what they do.

Cons

The pay is low relative to the work load. I've worked other sales jobs that pay a lot more. Some customers can be very rude.

    Pros

    benefits, compensation can be good if you are meeting your quotas, other departments are not so bad

    Cons

    highly stressful, management sucks, no room for advancement unless you are a pet or amongst the favorites, best option is to go to another department, high turnover lots of layoffs which is how I became a sales consultant

    Advice to Management

    help your employees move to other parts of the company and stop hindering growth

    stability, good base pay, friendly working environment; the company is well known as a telecom giant and has many resources and provides opportunities for career growth if you are proactive

    Cons

    benefits are not top-notch compared to tech industry, lots of process overhead, slow to adapt to industry trends and move rapidly

    improve benefits for employees and streamline processes
