I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great benefits. Larger departments with emphasis on training. Most managers are good people. Not a churn and burn environment.

    Cons

Very hard to get ahead, and most who have been in the same positiion for over 5 years are making the same or less money as 5 years ago. Often changes ( Which are constant ) are not for the best, and come from people far removed from the day to day of your position.

    Advice to Management

Actually listen to employees suggestions for improvement, and build a compensation plan that puts good, tenured reps back in charge of thier paycheck.
