I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are several courses you can take off campus which they pay for which is pretty cool. The pay isn't bad if you have experience in customer service. Training is very good.

    Cons

You will work a late shift for a very, very long time, and will have split days off. This is horrible for work/life balance. It takes six months before your offered insurance. Unless your willing to move to the headquarters you will not move out of being a Call Center Rep.

    Advice to Management

You should have an emergency day off an employee can use as you have no sick days except to incur points.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great benefits. Larger departments with emphasis on training. Most managers are good people. Not a churn and burn environment.

    Cons

Very hard to get ahead, and most who have been in the same positiion for over 5 years are making the same or less money as 5 years ago. Often changes ( Which are constant ) are not for the best, and come from people far removed from the day to day of your position.

    Advice to Management

Actually listen to employees suggestions for improvement, and build a compensation plan that puts good, tenured reps back in charge of thier paycheck.
