retail at at&t is horrible. They play favorites with employee's and not based on performance. Management was young and had no idea had to run a team. lack of opportunity

Advice to Management

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good pay along with great benefits. Chance to meet new faces within the local community. Work hand in hand with the latest technology.

    Cons

Management is clueless on how to run an effective business. Too many favorites involved. Understanding which directive to take from what manager is a constant struggle.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that you do your homework with employees and leadership. Lead by example and not by fear based tactics. Find the true source of motivation for employees rather than broad assumptions. Be aware of frontline activity and what it takes to truly deliver excellent customer service.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Ability to climb the corporate ladder if you have proven results. I learned a lot and am grateful for a progressive and successful 17 year career. Would do it again if given the right opportunity.

    Cons

Our division was sold off to a private equity firm and the organization changed along with benefits, compensation and stock options.
