Advice to Management

There a situations in life that we have no and i mean no control. It would be nice to have the attendance policy revised.

    Pros

Benefits are pretty good and the pay can be good.

    Cons

ATT is always downsizing so the stress of having that always over your head is very difficult. Your future is always TBD and the stress level as a result is high. People are working more hours and doing much more so they can perhaps keep their job and benefits. So many are on medications for stress just to keep their day to day wits about them. Painfully high stress.

    Advice to Management

I think the first and second level managers are in a difficult spot. It is the higher levels that are perhaps unaware of the stress that is being put on the level 1 and 2 groups (project managers, service managers) causing mental health issues on a wide spread basis. How many companies can say their people are begging to be downsized because the stress to intense because their support people keep getting laid off or moved out of the country.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

It used to be a great place to work at before the AT&T merger. Not sure why everyone follows AT&T guidelines after the company almost went bankrupt

    Cons

They penny-pinch and blame upper management for all the things that have not been done, this may vary from org to org within the company.

    Advice to Management

They need to treat their employees with respect and offer incentives to boost morale. A lot of unhappy employees at this time.
