Pros

They provided great health benefits; This is one of the last bastions of good customer service jobs in US prior to all of the customer service jobs being routed to India

Cons

The shifts were not consistent. They rotated shifts every 3 month; the least tenured employees got the worst shifts ( i.e. Sunday at 6am start)

Advice to Management

There needs to be much more diversity in management and the constant shift changes increases turnover in the workplace obviously.

    Good Union
    Discount on phone service and Uverse (after 6 months)

    Cons

    Management treats employees like dirt
    0% flexible I know people who have gotten fired missing work 1 day while in the hospital
    Managers try very hard to find a reason to fire you, if they cant find one they make one up
    pay isnt good compared to similar jobs
    very outdated systems
    poor training
    ...... i could go on and on... please, for your own sake don't get a job here

    Advice to Management

    Stop being so lazy and get it together, stop treating employees worse than animals, and for godsake update your systems

    Pros

    I enjoy the exposure to cutting edge technology, free mobile phone service, competitive pay and good benefits. It is a challenging field where change comes rapidly.

    Cons

    There is not enough room for growth within the company. Demands grow daily and it is tough to balance sales goals vs. customer service goals within the AT&T system.
