Pros
Better working conditions than any other office job I have had. Nice building, smart and clean environment to work in. I worked in the call centre and we were not crammed in close together like in some other places. Enough time between calls not to get stressed. Very friendly people to work with who are always eager to help their team-mates. Staff training was excellent, very detailed and done at a comfortable pace. One hour for lunch. Comfortable internet/relaxing room to spend lunch breaks in. Lovely sunny patio area shielded from the wind. Company barbecues in summer. Close to town centre and shops. I was treated with a lot more respect as an employee by AXA than by any other company I have worked for.
Cons
Parking. The car park underneath the building only has a very limited number of spaces, meaning you're only allowed to park there if your shift finishes after 9pm. Otherwise you have to compete for a space in the residential areas 20 minutes' walk away. Salary could have been better considering that fluency in a foreign language was required.
