I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

-You work alongside several attractive, nice people
-friendships, casual romances
-Managers are really nice at least at my location
-lots of things to do: cash wrap, greet, fold clothes, fitting rooms
-no competition among co-workers because everyone is paid the same
-lots of minorities in my store

Cons

-horrible discount
-horrible pay
-if a manager doesn't like you (for mostly arbitrary reasons), you can have a horrible experience
-the managers adamantly seek attractive recruits which is awkward...
-sometimes you do the same thing forever without being switched (i.e. greeting your entire shift-4hrs)
-only 3 people get raises each year and they are EXTREMELY low (model, impacter, manager).
-they hire so many people that you can't really work as much as you'd like unless you're extremely attractive (model) or extremely efficient/independent (impacter)

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Cool people, mostly laidback, good managers at my location. Atmoshphere was laidback and as long as work got done than everyone was happy

    Cons

They hire so many people so you are not able to work alot, only 10-15 hours at most if your lucky. Usually only 6-10. Also refolding clothes after a mom rummages through a whole pile

    Advice to Management

Listen to the managers at the store more
