I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

I only really liked my co workers.

Cons

They do NOT train their employees. It was my first job and they kinda just put me in the store and learn along the way. They would ask if they could put me in register and just because I said I never was on register before they looked for someone else. I mean really, if an employee doesn't know how to do something then teach him/her. I only had one manager I didn't like very much because she always gave me an attitude for no reason. It was minimum wage.

Advice to Management

Train your employees better. Let the managers do manager tasks.

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pros: Easy Advancement Opportunities, A Variety of Opportunities Following Assistant Manager Role, Informative MIT Program and Management Training, CDP Reviews, Good Benefits

    Cons

Cons: Unflexible Schedule, Unrealistic Presentation & Recruiting Standards, Very Little Room for Growth in Salary, Terrible Ethics

    Advice to Management

I would suggest less evidence of favoritism in upper management seeing that this company promotes based on "who you know" rather than "what you do." Also, monthly management improvement meetings or training sessions for ALL levels of management including regional, district, store, and assistant managers would be helpful.

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

couldnt find any pros. Even the discount was not enough for an employee

    Cons

Too organized, no freedom, no incentives to help promote product. As a sales associate, there is no real sales.

    Advice to Management

Need more diversity, need to branch out more to get customers, need to incentivize sales
