I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

literally the easiest job on the planet, essentially you need the skill set of a monkey!!! as a cast o' you are pretty much given free reign on your schedule and they dont care if you dont show up because they cant fire you :), great if you want a job that you can decide when to work and when not to, good way to build experience on your resume .. not that you will actually gain anything of value. Impact system is great.

    Cons

minimum wage, no commission, DM's are horrible... like making staff cry horrible, prepare to live a life of no make up, ripped jeans and flip flops (which make your feet hurt), very biased models treated very differently to impact (especially cast o')

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    easy job
super flexible when it comes to scheduling
the managers and other part timers are awesome (well most of them at least)
employee discount is decent, 30% off regular priced items for part timers, managers and other full time employees get 40%
your discount also works at Hollister (but is only 20%), and Gilly Hicks (there aren't any stores near me so idk what the discount is).

    Cons

they only pay minimum wage due to a high turnover rate
it can be hard to find people willing to cover your shifts
strict "look policy" (hair cannot be styled certain ways, guys must be clean shaven, no finger nail polish, not too much make up, etc.)

    Advice to Management

district managers-talk to your part timers! they are the back bone of your stores. especially take the time to talk to those who work a lot, they'll be able to give you insight as to what goes on in the store when you're not there
