I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

-good start to an entry level management position
-pay is decent
- you get to meet great associates to manage/train

Cons

-very stressful during peak season (Christmas and back to school)
-long hours ( sometimes you don't get out till 1 am )
-leading the floor set/ updates (which are every other week)

Advice to Management

Sometimes upper management forget how hard it is to manage a store during the floor set/updates. Try to realize that the given time restrictions to complete some task as not always realistic and be able to empathize with that.

    I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time

    Pros

Well for starters, everyone is so good looking. It's nice to stare at attractive people your whole shift. Everyone who works for the company is young, so everyone seems to understand eachother. Easy job, you aren't expected to do much of anything.

    Cons

Growing up I thought this would be my dream job but it wasn't. Every shift usually drags on and you're stuck in the same spot for hours bc managers often forget about you. It's the worst place to work when you're in a bad mood and the customers are usually always freaking out about the music and pricing. You will never get a raise. Even though everyone is young, the managers often think they're above everyone even though they are probably the same age as you. A lot of high school drama.

    Advice to Management

Better structure, don't leave people zoned in the same place for a whole shift!!!
