No opinion of CEO

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Even though the employee discount was low (about 20 or 30%), I gained some experience with customer service, handling the cash register, pricing merchandise, and inventory.

Cons

Very few hours, low salary, superficial people

Advice to Management

Please treat employees better, compensate for the lack of decent salary for the work required from the employees

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Extremely flexible hours, ability to switch and give away shifts at any time, good pay, fun music, very busy (makes your shift go by incredibly fast), uniform is free

    Cons

EXTREMELY strict look policy, nails MUST be short and unpolished, toes must be clear, pink or red but no hot pinks or "firey" reds, very quick to give you a write up for things as small as not having your pants double cuffed, not for the fashionable person AT ALL

    Advice to Management

Loosen up a bit. Not everyone is a size 2 and 5'10. Not everyone likes their natural hair colour, or the colors pink or red. The look policy is WAY too strict. Telling people how to look, down to their toe nails, is very uncomfortable. Besides, what does our toe nail polish have to do with ones ability to sell ?
