I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

There are non. blacks on the back of the bus, and in the stock room, always.

Cons

Hmm, supremely superficial, if you're not light bright, you're not right. If you aren't silver spoon fed, why are you in this store? You know that's what they talk about in those pep talks. "Our clothes, for our lifestyle, for people like us." White people, white trash. Abercrombie and Fitch used to be a hunting and sporting apparel store, should've stayed that way. Those dead guys must be suffocating in their coffins from the stench of their brands cologne

Advice to Management

It's all a disgusting facade. To make people think they'll look prettier in your clothes. You know you don't like anyone that wears a size 3 and above.

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time

    Pros

    - Great exposure to cross functional teams
    - Good opportunity to work at a large cap company and have real responsibility very young
    - Opportunities for management very early in career
    - Fun, creative, aspirational corporate culture

    Cons

    - Very little training given to managers so you're likely to have at least one really bad manager while you're there
    - Hours not so great, usually 12 hour days
    - Responsibility and promotions usually given to who the higher up's like the most, or feel is the best fit for the company (i.e. wears all current A&F clothing, is tall, slim, and blond, and never plans to leave Ohio) rather than who is most qualified. Beware of this!

    Advice to Management

    See above.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hours very flexible. Ability to choose which days to work. You can also pick up shifts from other employees.

    Cons

Pay could be better, and sometimes it may seem as if you are an unvaluable employee, due to how replaceable you are.

    Advice to Management

    Do not abuse your power.
