I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (More than a year)

Pros

I've been blessed with having great District Managers. Both very helpful and very nice. The company provides you with plenty of tools to try and succeed. The company also values people a lot.

Cons

When receiving visits from Regional managers and Directors they always tear you a new one. Understandable they don't travel hundreds of miles to pat you on the back, but I do believe in both negative and positive reinforcement.

At times it seems they value things wrong, they're priorities are out of wack. When a regional manager visits at times they care more about something being easily being misplaced or witnessing a sticker on the floor instead of on the clothing than worrying about the business itself.

Advice to Management

Prioritize better.

Work with your team to get them where they would like to go.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time

    Pros

The manager is nice, you get discounts when it's certain times I'm the season

    Cons

They play the same music everyday, boring, you walk around the store for hours fixing stuff you fixed 30 minutes prior to that, the cologne is overpowering.

  2. "Great social experience, terrible ethics"

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You'll have the opportunity to meet a lot of outgoing people, the training process is very smooth since the work you do is so exceedingly simple.

    Cons

They will literally remove you from the sales associate position, which they call their "models" if you gain too much weight. They expect their associates, who are for the most part part-time, to be on-call on their days off, which is absurd for a job that pays minimum wage.
