I have been working at Abstrakt Marketing Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I was promoted twice in my first 8 months here, and am currently in a position that challenges me and helps me grow every day. I feel that the work I do is important, both to Abstrakt and our clients but also to my professional development as well. Although I am kept busy, I also have a lot of fun at work and feel like I have a good work-life balance. Overall, Abstrakt is a fun and fast-paced company where I have...

    Cons

There is no slacking off at Abstrakt - management expects you to do your very best every day, but I don't believe that is too much to ask. We work hard, but the hard work pays off in the form of recognition along with professional and personal growth.

    Advice to Management

Continue fostering an environment where employees can advance their careers and have fun while doing it.

I have been working at Abstrakt Marketing Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The higher ups seem to genuinely care about their employees well-being and they create a good work/life balance. It's a very chill culture and easy to adapt to considering how friendly everyone is. This position specifically is pretty good for people who like autonomy, but also enjoy working with a team!

    Cons

There isn't a whole lot of training involved, but if you are self-starter and ask good questions you will do just fine.

I worked at Abstrakt Marketing Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The people at Abstrakt are amazing and you are sure to find some lifelong friends in the process. The culture was definitely uplifting in the beginning but it disappeared almost completely. I learned a crazy amount during my time at Abstrakt and would recommend this position to someone who loves cold calling, sales, and constant change. It takes a special individual to do this role long term

    Cons

The work-life balance here is horrible. There is an expectation to come early, work through lunch, and stay after to hit your metrics, attend meetings, and work on your projects. But guess what? You aren't getting paid for that time. Each week you have an hour-long meeting with your manager to go over the 5 time-consuming projects you worked on during the week and you must have 5 more ready for next week. These meetings...

    Advice to Management

Take into consideration the pitches, appointments, and industries into your PSRs metrics. Bring the culture back. That's what people love so much about Abstrakt. It brings positivity into such a stressful role. For work life balance consider meeting and MAPs during blocks or do hourly pay for everyone's time outside or normal work hours. Recruiters should be more transparent in interviews about the roles and expectations...
