I have been working at Accenture as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

The culture varies from team to team, but in general, they are quite client focused. Work/Life balance can be achieved if one is above-average efficient. The company still attracts quite a few businesses by its brand and name, which means experience can be accumulated steadily.

Cons

The project based environment is not an optimal place to go for most of the fresh joiners. Least training is provided on the job and large (40%) portion of the group were hired on a contract base.

Advice to Management

Make prudent decisions by listening more from the subordinates.

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The performance review and appreciation process is really good. Has a really open door culture for feedback. the escalation level are really good and one can really get the deserved.
The appraisal process is really good and the high performers really get appreciated both monetarily and personally as well.
The right things can always be demanded and the wrong things escalated to any levels...the escalation levels are easily accessible.

    Cons

The global opportunities mostly remain at the higher levels of the teams and continue to only those who are already globally working.
the opportunities are never tried with new people even if deserved unless persuaded with the management.
    resource movement is slightly rigid.

    Advice to Management

With such a global organization, please see that the deserved candidates are identified by the management for the better roles and opportunities.
