Positive Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Work-life balance though it depends on project, In-house technical training. Good opportunities in Microsoft technology group ( Avanade ). Decent wage hikes.

Cons

No consistent promotion policies, it depends mostly on the project you are in. Sales people are rewarded more at the expense of those in delivery. Request for transfer/onshore happens mostly only when you tell them you are going to quit.

    Pros

    No much work pressure.
    Good work culture
    Less politics

    Cons

Visibility limited to supervisor and its totally in his/her hand to project your work in front of management
Ratings are very subjective on your supervisor.
Higher Management listens to supervisor, not approachable for resources.
Skip level meetings are arranged for sake of formality
Skill/domain changes are allowed theoretically, but practically it’s very much restricted. Almost like not allowed
Not allowed for work from home
No work life balance: Number of working hours is 10 (1 Hour more than remaining IT market)
    HR is management’s puppet.

    Advice to Management

Make skip level meeting more meaningful
Take the fair perspective from employees also, not limit their connect with Supervisors.
Reduce gap between theoretical framework of HR policies and actual implementation
Reduce working hours to 9 hour and maintain parity with remaining IT industry.
Do not let supervisor create fake data points and do biasing.
