Pros

Really, it's about the people. At Accenture, you rarely find the management consultants that lead through fear and reek of arrogance. Most people are really nice.
Also, I found that the salary package is very nice. You won't get the highest salary in the industry, but considering benefits and goodies, it's really great.

Cons

Like most consultancies, Accenture needs to be flexible in regards to what person takes what project. This leads to the situation where your role does not necessarily fit your profile very well. Many project roles are also like high-level temporary work that could be done by client employees, but they don't want to hire permanent people.

    Pros

Accenture has a presence in most industries, and with most Fortune 500 companies, and top public organizations around the world. It is a great choice if you are unsure about what you want to do in business. You have the opportunity to pursue any career path you'd like, and they treat you like a fully experienced employee at entry-level and are willing to put you into any situation you believe you can handle. I had the opportunity to work for 8+ different companies, and travel to 3 different countries in my relatively short time with Accenture. I highly recommend a career in Accenture's Management Consulting

    Cons

The review/rating/promotion process is completely screwed up and is almost completely irrespective of your actual contributions or work with your clients.

    Advice to Management

Fix your promotion process so you can keep your best people. There's a big reason why you're having such difficulty with employee retention.
