I have been working at Accenture full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    1. Compensation and benefits 2. Strong and approachable Leadership 3. Complementary Transport 4. Good budget for outings and recreation

    Cons

    1. Employee Transfer to his choice of location 2. Onshore opportunities are fewer and only come if you are lucky 3. Cross- Training to area of interest/ technologies

    Advice to Management

Although Accenture is hiring in good no.s, that's very good. But take diligent steps "Not to degraded in the quality of resources getting hired." especially fresh from colleges. This impacts the overall professional environment of the organisation, motivation of the supervisor and adversely effects appraisals. Please do not compare within Indian market (e.g. TCS, Infosys) when coming to the appraisals. Quantity of... huge employee bank should not be compromised with quality. Accenture was a dream IT company till 2007.. we are putting too much effort on cheap cost, profit making. Please take steps forward to create a good Indian client data base.

    Pros

Big company, lots of opportunity to do different things

    Cons

Don't quite have their act together with landing agile contracts. Probably lots of reason's but one simple one is probably bill rates. In my opinion, they have not figured out how to differentiate their very talented professionals from the watered down crowd of "agile coaches" that are glutting the market and diluting the role.

I have been working at Accenture full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Everyone is very helpful and open Very inclusive and diverse company Lot of opportunity

    Cons

Your job may involve a lot of travel. Usual travel is you leave on a Sunday night and come back on a Thursday night. And that can be every week depending on what you are working on. High expectation Billable focused. It is a consulting firm so for every hour you don't bill the client, they lose money

    Advice to Management

Manage travel expectations with clients better. It will be great if we can travel every other week.
