No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Flexible work arrangements, excellent benefits, good incentives for profit sharing/bonuses, fun environment.

Cons

Career advancement often based on popularity with management staff, base pay lacking compared to similar positions at other companies, promotion decisions based on need for more resources at different levels, rather than employees being ready to move to the next level.

Advice to Management

Compensation needs to be re-evaluated, as many employees are looking outside of the firm for better positions. Career progression needs to be based on ability, rather than popularity.

    Pros

Strong reputation, good pay for young professionals, broad scope of opportunities, access to knowledge capital, many extracurricular activities (can be a pro or con depending on how much of a personal life you want to maintain)

    Cons

No training budget, hard to say no when your plate is full, easy to get stuck in projects that aren't a good fit (all about billable hours)

    Advice to Management

They already know what people like and don't like.

    Pros

Company will provide the tools for you to be successful.
Good environment to develop your skills.
The company goes to great lengths to allow individual expression and promotes diversity in their workforce.
Salaries are normally at least 20% above the market.

    Cons

Depending on your project, in order to be successful, work/life balance will likely suffer.
Some individuals have difficulties adjusting to the company's strong desire for uniformity in the delivery of services.
While salaries are normally above market, they will squeeze every penny out of you productivity wise.

    Advice to Management

More progress needs to be made in not burning your employees out.
