I worked at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Career growth is available. Analysts are quickly thrown into the field and expected to come out successful. These types of challenges force analysts to gain responsibility and grow extremely quickly.
-People are amazing. The people at Accenture are smart, motivated, and fun! Coworkers quickly become friends, and there are many social and networking opportunities available to expand networks.

    Cons

-Work/life balance is not great. Analysts are often expected to work OT and Accenture does not compensate for OT. Leadership sometimes fails to understand that personal life events may need to take precedence over working OT.
-Flexibility is lacking. Once placed in the Federal practice or on a diamond client, it is almost impossible to roll off to another project.
-Some leadership is poor. Senior management often times do not say "no" to the client when necessary and the team suffers due to the increase in work. Also, 80/20 rule is often true for larger projects - 80% of the work being completed by 20% of the people and these top performers are not compensated accordingly.

    Advice to Management

Take care of top performers. Accenture employees love the company and working with great people. However, when personal and career goals are ignored, top performers will leave Accenture and find another competitive company to join.
