I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

Pros

The people are amazing. Some of the best people I've ever worked with and it was very hard to leave the company after making such great friends. The company has many great benefits and can provide a lot of opportunity.

Cons

In my experience you had to "do your time" before anything great happened. Entry level right out of college and pay was not good for the first year or so. Hours can be extremely demanding at times.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with, great work/life balance (working remotely and in office), good social events/activities such as company sports leagues.

    Cons

Working for solutions has a work horse feel to it. Employees that start out with Accenture out of college do not get paid anywhere close to competitive rates.

    Advice to Management

Laddering system when it comes to salary increase and promotions seems to be very sloppy and disorganized.

    Pros

Learn valuable consulting skills including soft skills

    Cons

Accenture requires employees to travel from Monday to Thursday, working from home on Friday. Be sure your situation can accommodate such travel plans

    Advice to Management

    Network! Network! Network!
