I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Great work, Great brand, interesting clients. Meritocracy sometimes works. Great team ethic across the world. Good "get it done" client delivery mentality. International training center is great for meting people and hearing ideas from around the world.

Cons

Individual career options and situations are lost in faceless policy.
Work/life balance could be better.
IT practices usually trump management consulting practices.

Advice to Management

More flexibility in career options.

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great Mentorship
    - Great Team Dynamics
    - Learn on the Job
    - Don't need an MBA to get promoted to Partner, they value on the job experience more - only need an MBA if you choose to switch tracks.
    - Lost of room to grow and learn how to improve on your weaknesses
    - Environment that invests in you to make you a better consultant and deliverer for the company

    Cons

    - Little personal time
    - Sometimes poor quality of products delivered to customer can reflect on the promises of unreasonably little time to create the product by senior partners - this makes you produce work quicker but with little time to reflect and consider other avenues.

    Advice to Management

    Better pay
consider more reasonable time frames to deliver a quality product instead of just a product.

I have been working at Accenture as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working from home, great facilities, work/life balance

    Cons

No paid holidays, no paid time off, constant moving around

    Advice to Management

I think contractors should be paid for Christmas and Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July. We work just as hard as everyone else.
