I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Accenture has presence in veriety of applications of Microsoft. You might get chance to work in different enegagements of microsoft that has its own processes and standards. You will get to work directly with the client where you are expected to perform same as any other microsoft developers.
It provides a decent salary to its employees compared to other vendors. It also pays you for OT.

Cons

If you get a tough client and your job is as an onsite to offshore team coordinator, expect to lose your work-life balance.

Advice to Management

So far so good. But there should be a proper process for ensuring Work-Life balance.

    Pros

    Great training at St. Charles.

    Cons

Values only matter in training. During training the come constantly talked about Accenture values. Respect for the individual, client first, etc. But I found on project was the opposite of this.

    Advice to Management

    Be Honest!

I have been working at Accenture full-time

    Pros

Accenture, like other consulting firms, allows you to learn about senior corporate culture very early on in your career. Accenture itself is embedded in so many different companies in the US and around the world that it is fairly easy to move into an industry or position that you want, albeit with some leveraging and by making your desires known. On the IT side, there's no one better and your ability to manage projects and deal with issues will increase rapidly. Overall, Accenture is great at IT Consulting, but lacks a bit on the Management Consulting side.

    Cons

If you want to be a Management Consultant, Accenture isn't a bad place to be, but it's certainly not the best. Accenture does underpay a bit, but they can afford to do so as the market is a bit weak now and management knows this. Like other firms, the corporate climb is just as tough and ruthless at Accenture, so be prepared for that. My advice, find a mentor that will fight for you and is also in a position to effectively do so.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to figure out a better way to incorporate upwards feedback in the annual review process.
