I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great company with great people. Like all consulting firms, there's an emphasis on building a strong network within the firm to find staffing opportunities and help make a name for yourself. If you get on a good project, working at Accenture can be as close to utopia as one could imagine.

Cons

Culture can be 'click-esh' at times. Finding a group of collegues that you trust and get along with is really the challenge at hand. The travel and hotels get old after a while so your ability to manage yourself well in those situations is key to success.

Advice to Management

There should be more company-wide networking events to foster inclusion and give everyone an opportunity to grow their network. The office environments are not always conducive for that and sometimes constrain an individual's ability to express themselves freely.

    Pros

Variety of work, good (sometimes) clients. Downtime between projects, some nice people.

    Cons

You often feel like you work for a temp agency and are always fighting for your life. HR is non existent and doesn't care about anything but the bottom line and getting you staffed - somewhere - anywhere - so you're off their list. The social hierarchy is absolutely demeaning in a lot of cases, managers and senior managers take it way too far when they boss around analysts and consultants. A lot of people expect you to have NO life at all after work - 24 hours on call.
