I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Large network/flexible job positions/large amount of resources/ alot of opportunities for networking.

Cons

too Business/Client oriented which produces alot of (bureaucracy).

Advice to Management

need more investment in onshore development projects to produce revolutionary solutions rather than providing up to date solutions with already known solutions that only require cheap off-shore resources to implement.

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    *Smart, driven co-workers
*Interesting work in the short-term projects; the longer term ones start bleeding into the technology space
*Most managers are really good and want to develop and grow you.
*Great training in St. Charles training center. For a week, peers from all around the world converge to learn and socialize

    Cons

*The performance review and promotion process is complex and very political. At times, it can appear very cliquish with senior management pulling for the alums from their program.
*Involvement in extra-curriculars (e.g. recruiting, white-paper writing, mentoring, volunteering, thought capital develpment) is a must if you want to be viewed as a strong player.
*The organization is large and always changing a bit more than is typical for similar consulting firms.
*High-turnover (particularly, after bonus and promotion time)

    Advice to Management

Please continue making inroads in diversity recruitment and retention of women. Similarly, do a better job of integrating experienced hires.
