I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great people, plenty of training opportunities (in-class and online), wide variety of industries and clients to work with, company has a large global network

Cons

Most projects are systems implementations, one of the only way to expedite career is to start specializing early (not always easy to seek out projects/roles you want), projects are often heavily under-staffed and team members are usually over-worked, sometimes too much emphasis on getting the job done on time versus getting the job done correctly

Advice to Management

Focus less on re-structuring and re-organizing how employees are aligned every year (by function or industry), and more on establishing more comprehensive career paths for individuals, especially those starting from an entry-level position

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Huge global network that brings the knowledge of the entire firm to you. Also great people who are dedicated and incentivized to help their team grow.

    Cons

Occasional long hours depending on project, lacking sense of togetherness due to the spread out nature of consulting.

    Advice to Management

Encourage the individual contributors to provide more upward feedback to management so that the firm continues to adapt and be flexible to the many employees that keep it running.
